Course Description:

How can you transform a noisy and complex city into a cohesive, vibrant image? How do you choose the right elements and avoid getting lost in the urban bustle? In this course, you'll explore a whole range of topics: how to simplify buildings without losing the recognizability of a place, how to convey the time of day – from a city morning to night scenes. But most importantly, how to enliven the cityscape, filling it with your emotions and feelings about the place.

Special attention will be paid to human figures in the cityscape, cars, and those magical details that bring our watercolors to life: traffic lights, streetlamps, road signs…

Beyond the basics, this course is packed with unique techniques and personal insights gathered through years of hands-on practice. Expect insider tips, creative approaches, and time-tested methods that will elevate your watercolor artworks to a professional level.

By the end of this course, you'll be able to confidently paint urban scenes, from narrow European alleyways to contemporary boulevards. Find your own style and embrace complex subjects.
